The Fifth Commandment according to Roman Catholicism says: "Thou shalt not kill", and like the rest of the Ten Commandments is recognized moral basis in the major doctrines Abrahamic (Judaism, Christianity and Islam). But it is curious that despite the strength of these two words, which left no room for doubt or nuance, the army (any country) and the church always have been and are exquisitely well. It seems a contradiction to the Christian churches deal with such fraternal armies trained to fight and kill, to drop bombs on the cities, kill thousands of people en masse, to launch the most ferocious atomic bomb in the heart of a village. Something does not fit, do not leave the accounts. The picture above shows a priest of the Russian Orthodox Church to bless the weapons to be used in the field battle (imagine that the bullets are accurate and ends with the greatest number of lives). Belong to the close relationship between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian army, but could be extrapolated to any country. The question is why the church and the army are so good or what is not understood the Fifth Commandment? ...
