[Italy] Surge of arrests of anarchist networks.
5 arrests in Bologna, 7 arrests, 60 records in Italy
More On April 6 of 300 policemen took part in an operation "anti-terrorist" Operation Out-of-the-law "aimed against insurrectionary anarchist activists. The operation was conducted in 16 different cities, among which was Bologna, where police arrested 5 activists near the CSO Fuoriluogo and closed the place. Another person was arrested in the nearby town of Ferrara and released after undergoing interrogation. 7 others are subject to different orders restricting their movements and are also being investigated (only for your information, these measures are normally taken when there is serious evidence of guilt and at least one of the following: risk of flight, risk of alteration testing, and risk of repeat offense).
The operation was part of an investigation begun in 2009, partly linked to anarchist publications and in part to the recent attack on detention and against corporations IBM and ENI (a multinational oil and gas). The network is believed to have been in contact through the fanzine Invece recorded that when the houses were taken as proof of belonging to the network, according to police (for the moment, in the mass media is described as a magazine "underground"). The police are also looking for other publications and materials considered "incriminating." LXS
