Attention users. Metrovalencia trains circulate until 2am on weekends during July and August. Railways of the Generalitat Valenciana (FGV), the public company that operates the underground network, will debut its new service on Friday night.
Actually, this is a pilot project which, depending on demand, will continue beyond the summer months as announced in November the managing director of FGV, Marisa Grace. In fact, the goal is to provide in future a continuous service, 24 hours both Friday and Saturday.
In this first phase, the 'Owl' Metrovalencia work weekends step frequencies ranging between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on destination.
Specifically, Line 1 trains will run every fifteen minutes as it passes through the center of the network (which basically includes the city of Valencia) and 30 in the case of that address Seminari, Paterna or Torrent Avinguda, which will be the end of the line stations.
